When you set up to hit clear your nike off white mind, swing easy and commit to the shot. If your shot does not work out the way you wanted spend a very little time in analysing the shot. If you know what you did wrong then fine, but if you don't know what happened, forget it. Your not going to figure it out on the course anyway. Try not to get frustrated it' onlygoing to spoil your next shot or your entire round. Don't practice on the golf course. I played with my sister in law one day and all she did was remind herself of the 25 different things she learned at her golf lesson that week. She never hit a good shot all day and left the course more frustrated than when she arrived. Practice at the driving range. As you walk to your ball after you have hit it try to take in the surroundings and enjoy the time you have on the course.
I might decide to use a 5 wood, 9 iron, PW, and a one putt for par. Also I have chosen 3 shots I'm also confident in hitting. Having made up my mind before hand helps me relax more and concentrate on each shot. I don't feel anxious or uncertain about a possible upcoming shot. If one of the shots doesn't work out I'll handle that as it comes, but planing before hand really helps. A par five nike air max 97 might be a driver, 5 iron and 9 iron with a putt for birdie or at least two putts for par. Even a long par three can be a challenge if it has a lot of bunkers or has a water hazard. If your anxious about water or bunkers then decide to lay up. Lets say the hole is 210 yards with bunkers and a water hazard. You could tee off with a club tht will get you out there 150 nike vapormax yards and then you are left with a 50 yard chip or pitch shot with one putt for par.
That may be better than putting one in the water off of the tee or in the bunker. Most weekend golfers I know have a hard time with bunker shots. Avoid them if possible. Even though I could drive the green myself Imight lay up if the hazards are too difficult. In conclusion, thinking about your round, or the next shot can really help you lower your score. A little forethought will help you be honest with yourself and help you avoid those shots that you are not capable of. Playing within your strenghts is not coping out, but it is accepting your own capabilities, and it will actually help you lower your golf scores as we will see in the next article. This is how I use to play, see if you recognize it.
On my way to the course, in the nike women shoes back of my mind I was going to have my best round ever. Getting to the course I would sign in and go to the first tee with little or no warm up. I would swing the club a few times, tee up the ball and with butterflies or shaky knees boom, I would shank it in the woods, or slice it bad, or top it about 100 yards. Frustrated I would go find my ball, normallly in a bad lie or have to lift it out of the woods if I could find it. Then looking at the green about 250 yards in the distance I would get out the old 3 wood and give it my best (worst) swing. Again I would shank it, top it, slice it or some other terrible shot. By the time I was finished the first hole I was looking at an eight or worse, and thus started another frustrating bad round.
I did this over and over again for over two years. One of the first things I figured out from listening to the pros and experts was that golf was a mind set, and in order to play good golf to have to play smart. That means playing within your strengths. This is part of "good course management". That's right, course management is not just making good shots, it's also playing to the course design and playing to your strengths as well. Let me give you an example of how I use my strengths now to lower my score. The other day I was playing our number 5 hole, one of the hardest par fours I have played. Not in length, but in design. It's a dog leg left and you ned a really good tee shot over trees to the fairway beyond to have any chance of reaching the green in two.
Just watching his poor mechanics made me feel bad again. I felt this was going to be a damaging episode to his ego and eliminate any idea that baseball was a cool sport. They called his name and he disappeared onto the other side. Afterwards when asked how he did, he simply said OK. Much to our surprise, we received a call from Frank a coach for the Little League, who informed us that nike huarache Evan was going to play on his team. Evan was elated, I was shocked. Never in my mind did I think he would make it. Frank, we were told by others in the league, was a tough coach who approached the game with a no nonsense attitude. At this first practice, this was very apparent. He was a drill sergeant, calling kids knuckleheads, demanding their utmost attention and not tolerating a bad effort. Despite his apparent demeanor, I learned this team, the Rockies, won the league last year going undefeated.
